Phoenix
Out of the ashes
Of what once was my heart
A hauntingly beautiful
Bittersweet melody
Arose.
It soared and it swelled
Until in encompassed
The sound of the breakers
Of the sea and
The wind in the pines.
It drifted
On the currents of the breeze,
Spreading its wings
As the refrain
Penetrated my being.
The message was unmistakable:
I SHALL RISE AGAIN!

I see that you are from east TN. I am from outside of Knoxville but live in up state New York now. In the Alleghany Mountains. It's the same mountain chain the Smokies are in but the opposite end.
